I save old objects
For a long time I have been fascinated by old everyday objects. If these things could tell, then they would certainly have many exciting and moving stories to tell. These things were made a long time ago and are for various reasons so no longer have today. Too bad to simply discard them and throw them away.
I have therefore made it my mission to restore (at least some of) these items as best I can. On this journey I will certainly learn a lot and also find out about myself and my abilities. You can also benefit from this knowledge on my website and in my social media profiles.
By profession, I am a social pedagogue and have been working with wood and restoration of old things for quite a while. My initial training as a painter and varnisher comes in handy here. In this apprenticeship I was able to learn a lot about wood preparation and coating. During my apprenticeship, sanding and polishing was honestly not my favorite work – I can now profit from the experience very well.
