Restoration of an ancient cutting board
Restoration of an ancient cutting board
The next project that I have now implemented is restoring an ancient dough kneading / cutting board board. I got this board from a school I work at. This board should be thrown away because it was already too worn and broken. I thought to myself: „It’s too bad to throw it away! I could try restoring it.“
I have put a lot of effort into bringing this board back to life, which is really very beautiful and very functional. Take a look at a video and tell me what you think about whether I succeeded in the restoration or not. In any case, we will continue to use this board in our kitchen to make bread dough and for cutting. My wife will get it.

My name is Sascha and my “thing” is saving and restoring old things. Some things may be old but too good to throw them simply away. I would like to inspire other people and show them how to polish up and save old things with a little effort.
