Rusty to RADIANT! Restoration of a Vintage Bread Slicer
Full Restoration
I purchased this bread slicer through an online marketplace. This resulted in a nice contact with the saleswoman Annett.
Watch me restoring a rusty vintage bread slicer back to its radiant glory! This satisfying transformation will leave you amazed at the power of restoration.
This bread cutting machine is probably around 100 years old and was owned by the von Annett family. Thankfully, Annett told me some background information about this wonderful bread cutting machine, which I would like to share with you.
The story behind this bread slicer:
„The machine is from my grandparents and I have remembered the machine for as long as I can remember. I’m 50 years old and my grandma died this year at the age of 89 and my grandpa died last year at the age of 96.
So my grandparents are called Helga and Fritz and lived in Plauen in Vogtland. They married in 1953 and were married for 70 years before my grandpa died.
I remember that whenever my grandmother cut bread, the machine was taken out of the bottom of the kitchen cupboard, then attached to the worktop, the bread was taken out of the bread box and then it started. Wipe down afterwards and tidy up again.
I still see these images to this day. At the end of the 90s she got an electric one. Bought a food slicer and unfortunately the old bread machine ended up on the floor.“
I look forward to your comments and comments. Just write me your thoughts in the comments.
Greetings Sascha
